PACS Manager
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiographer who is able to work under pressure and produce results whilst leading a PACS / RIS Team to enhance our way of working.
The Trust has had PACS and RIS installed for several years and both systems have recently been significantly upgraded. We require a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can drive forward the changes and developments needed to meet today’s new challenges and the imaging needs of the future. You will have appropriate experience of working within the PACS environment and suitable clinical experience as a senior Radiographer.
You will be a part of the Radiology Management Team and will be responsible for the running of the PACS and RIS in conjunction with the IT Department and the PACS provider . As well as the technical side of the role you will be managing a team of staff and providing support to the users.
The Radiology Department performs in excess of 250,000 examinations per year and includes CT, MRI, interventional, ultrasound, paediatric, A&E and general radiography. All the modalities are linked to the archive and the department has a combination of DDR and CR capture detectors.
The role is a challenging one and is key to the Trust’s move towards an electronic environment through EPR and EHR.
If you are interested we would recommend a visit to see what we have to offer and meet some of the staff with whom you would be working.
To apply, please send your CV and covering letter to matthew.west@idealts.co.uk.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK. Ideal is committed to promoting equality and diversity throughout all areas of our selection and recruitment process.
