About the job - stick to the position and the organisation, avoid talking about salary, benefits or facilities until you've been offered the job.

• What are the main responsibilities?
• What are the most difficult aspects of the job?

Ask about the organisation and demonstrate your knowledge by including some facts from your research.

• What changes have been made/ will be made by achieving Foundation Trust status?
• How has the organisation been affected by the recent restructure?

• How has the newly opened Cancer Wing performed?

Good impression

Create a good impression

• Be clean, smart and dress appropriately for the position, play safe and avoid extreme fashion statements
• Be punctual, arrive 15 minutes early allowing time for travel, parking, finding the location
• Bring your mobile phone and contact numbers to inform the interviewer of unforeseen delays
• Be polite
• Bring a copy of your CV
