Ideal has seen an exponential growth in requirement to deliver change consulting as part of the Digital Transformation planning and delivery. We have steadily been growing our team to meet those demands and are increasingly recognised as the leading voice on change in healthcare IT.

The concept of Change Management is evolving. Historically seen as a process to be followed by project managers, it has moved to being understood as being a specific skillset that works alongside project management to specifically to support people through the change process.

While the field continues to evolve a renewed focus on relationships, an addition of psychological theory and the recognition of the importance of focus to organisational culture is welcomed.

For a positive change process, Change Management needs to start as early as possible in the EPR process, ideally from the Strategy and Requirements stage so there is plenty of time to build the relationships and trust needed for project success.
