Jonah Aburrow-Jones
Director – Digital Health Maturity, Strategy and Consulting
Jonah’s background spans almost 30 years and has been solely focused on healthcare. He has a passion for developing and delivering the best technology to support patient care and improved outcomes.
He holds to the philosophy that to deliver new models of care requires new ways of working with digital technology and transformation and has seen this first-hand with working with mental health global digital exemplars and LHCREs.
He has developed strategies and business plans to support them alongside running complex procurements from both the NHS and vendor side and know how to drive the best value from relationships with the private sector.
Jonah has also been heavily involved with EPR and shared record projects, including the elements beyond the implementation, including data quality, migration and training.
He endeavours to maintain the balance between strategic vision and a hands-on tactical ability to deliver meaningful improvements in care, on budget and within agreed timeframes. To do that he promotes a mix between improving digital maturity while having digital agility, so digital is a genuine enabler for broader transformation of care.
“With my experience of working across multidisciplinary teams and being an advocate of clinician led change, I am confident that I can help the Trust successfully demonstrate how innovative digital technology supports the care of patients when CQC audits take place. The CQC will now be including the use of digital technology as part of audits in the future.”
